4th Annual Philanthropic Development Conference

Spring Rain Global Philanthropy PTE Ltd will have its 4th Spring Rain Asian Philanthropic Development Conference on September 23 – 25, 2020 on a Virtual Conference over Zoom Webinar with our theme: Moving Towards a Resilient Ecosystem.

We move forward to build the ecosystem of good to a magnitude of scale to address the needs of time towards long term sustainability.

SRG PDO Ecosystem Care for 2020

Passionist PDO is just one among many PDO (Philanthropic Development Office) in the SRG-PDO Ecosystem that responds to the needs of the world today through its different programs and advocacies. One of them is responding to the bitter consequences of the Covid pandemic, which also affects every other aspect of our lives.

SRG-PDO Ecosystem launches “CARE FOR 2020: SRG PDO ECOSYSTEM FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN.” We hope and pray to gather funds for this 8-week campaign for our 8 advocacies that are also severely affected by the pandemic

COVID-19 Connect

In this global crisis, we also aim to HEAL AS ONE. We hope to fight this crisis with a holistic approach by seeking as much help as we could get and reaching out to our communities, parishes, and fellow PDOs within our own ecosystem. To provide a long-term and sustained help to the poor families/individuals who lost the means to earn or provide the basic needs of their families considering the long period of the community quarantine.

Join the Passionist Fathers together with Spring Rain Global and the other PDOs (Philanthropic Development Office) as we continue to help our fellow Filipinos in this difficult times – from the vulnerable, homeless, and elderly to the indigenous peoples and even frontliners. Support us by donating to Spring Rain Global through Lazada. To donate, visit Lazada online platform or Lazada app from your mobile devices and search for Spring Rain Global, then choose the beneficiary and amount of donation you desire.

Part of our reaching out to the vulnerable and frontliners is promoting the MASKS4ALL Campaign. This global campaign was initiated to stop the spread of COVID-19 virus that has already claimed many lives throughout the globe. The Passionist PDO adapted this campaign to PREVENT, PROTECT, and PROVIDE.

The Passionist Philanthropic Development Office envisions a dedicated journey of people and organizations keeping alive the passion of Christ by being an instrument of God’s community.

The Passionist Philanthropic Development Office believes that every person should enliven the passion of Christ. However, there are challenges illiteracy, injustice, spiritual hunger, destruction of the environment and creation. Thus, we provide evangelization, catechism, education and scholarship, livelihood, programs, culture, and environmental preservation, pastoral care, infrastructure, and community development. With strong determination, we commit to uphold the passion of Christ in the hearts of the people and the needy.

Together with other Passionist communities, parishes, and fellow PDOs in the Spring Rain Global ecosystem, we tirelessly extend Christ’s compassion to those who were severely impacted by the Covid pandemic. Join our cause and donate now.

Passionist Founder

Our Advocacies

We preach the message of the Crucified Christ
through our 9 advocacies, namely:

Vocation and Formation of our priests and religious

Faithful to the Vision of the Church in the Philippines, the Filipino Passionists holistically configured to Christ crucified envisioned a life of mature faith, fraternal communion, compassion and justice, and solidarity with the poor.

Pastoral and Social Services

This Advocacy generally covers everything that the Passionist do in various ministries for the past 60 years, in the area of Apostolate we have retreat giving across all groups and ages, mission to the indigenous people, youth accompaniment, individual and marital counseling, and rehabilitation of drug dependents.

Education and Scholarship

Inspired by Our Founder, St. Paul of the Cross and moved by our charism, to preach and keep alive the memory of the Passion of Christ, the Passionist Province in the Philippines has established schools as avenues where our charism can be preached and keep alive.

Human Resource and Development

Continuous enrichment of one’s Vocation through programs of updating and renewal and professionalization. It is our greatest aspiration to inculcate in the minds of this generation our Catholic beliefs, values and ethics that have been slowly sweeping away with the growing culture of materialism and huge innovations of the world today.

Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation

The PC-JPIC Phils. Inc. is an established ministry of the Province of the Passion catering to social services to all Passionist Ministries in the Philippines where it advances a culture of peace and a just society and defend the wholeness of creation.

Mission Abroad

The Congregation of the Passion has always been a missionary and evangelizer of God’s love in his Sacred Passion. Reaching out to people from all walks of life especially to spiritually poor across nations of different culture, races, language and climate.

catholic mission to the indigenous peoples

After 60 years we are currently serving 63 communities in the mountains of SocSarGen. The mission is committed to support the Indigenous People’s initiative for self determination and empowerment. DAD BULOL in the B’laan dialect literally means “the mountains” is where the Passionist Missionaries served different areas in the towns of T’boli, Malungon, Alabel and Malapatan.

Infrastructure and Development

A faith based and well-planned infrastructure is of great importance in shaping of the communities of the Congregation of the Passion. Sacred spaces provide interface between society and development.

Health Care of our Passionist priests and religious

As our Passionist community grows by number, the average brackets of the religious who are in their forties and fifties are on its majority level. Twenty years from now, more senior citizens will be added to the Province.
